I see Boudoir Photography as a Therapy to help you consolidate your confidence.

I'm Ella Diumea and I'm a boudoir photographer. What I do is to help you reveal the sophisticated, chic and sensual YOU. But my final goal is to help you Celebrate Your Beauty! Really when you look at it, most women do not celebrate their beauty, they criticize, they condemn, they put down, they beat themselves up on a daily bases about every piece and part of their body: their legs, their ams, their but, their hair... It's sad that we become accustomed in our culture to this idea that we aren't beautiful as women. Recently I came across a study named 'The Real Truth About Beauty' commissioned by Dove and the results are heart breaking. They interviewed about 3200 women in 10 countries and only 2% consider themselves Beautiful. ONLY 2%.

We live in a society that places a high degree of importance on physical appearance. Television, movies, magazines and billboards all display attractive women. Our society is obsessed with physical beauty.

We start feeling insecure about ourselves at age 12 - 13 when we are first introduced to the whole fashion industry. We grow up in this culture that tell us we cannot achieve beauty. We all want to look like the models and the movie stars we see everywhere. And we struggle all our teenage life to accomplish that.

Later in life, when we transition into being moms, we may become even more insecure. We're not doing the things we used to do, we're not working anymore, not feeling like ourselves anymore; we're disconnecting ourselves from whom we were before becoming moms, like it is nothing special about us.

And later on we struggle with busy schedules, screaming kids, work, household duty and family. We end up never having a moment away form all these. That's way I want you to start Celebrate Your Beauty! My goal is to help all women embrace their beauty and step away from the monotony of everyday life. And why not to celebrate with something completely new and empowering, a boudoir session?? That's my job, to make you see yourself as beautiful as you are. The confidence boost you receive from the artistically done photographs is unparalleled. The lightning is flattering, you have hair and make up done ( to many a confidence boost in itself). These sessions are for you and you will have a team of people working towards making you look gorgeous. It amazes most women to see themselves, and this helps them regain some confidence in who they are and how they appear to the world. In today's society, I think women are scared, or just don't have the time to look hard at themselves, and see how beautiful they are. Having this kind of experience will allow women to really evaluate themselves and how the world sees them.

Because of all these, I consider my photography being a Phototheraphy! Always remember to Celebrate Your Beauty:)
